Celebrate America’s birthday by attending the annual 4th of July parade in Dunwoody, the largest Independence Day parade in the state of Georgia! Participants will plant grass or chia seed inside a caterpillar constructed out of cloth and sand/compost. Decorate the caterpillar to give it personality then take it home and wait for the “hair” to grow! in partnership with the North Fulton Master Gardeners and in cooperation with UGA Extension in Fulton County. Best suited for kids ages 6-10 with accompanying adult.
