Vintage Affair Gala Features New Location and Experiences
Mystery, intrigue and excitement are building for Moonlight Masquerade, the theme of this year’s Vintage Affair benefit gala for the Community Assistance Center. The magical evening takes place on October 26 and will be hosted by Presenting Sponsor Mercedes-Benz USA. The annual Vintage Affair offers exciting live and silent auctions with unique items and experiences, complimentary wine and beer, small plate dining and desserts.
The setting is the elegant atrium of the new Mercedes-Benz USA Headquarters in Sandy Springs. Tickets for this year’s event are limited to 400 and are expected to sell out.
Since its founding, CAC has helped more than 20,000 neighbors during their times of need. At CAC, families, and individuals are treated with respect and find hope for brighter days ahead. CAC is supported by 28 congregations of all faiths, public and private grants, civic organizations, schools, businesses, and individuals.
The volunteer planning committee, led by Chairwoman Cheryl Sykes of Sandy Springs, is working on a very unique experience to offer as the raffle prize.
A Mystery Guest will mingle with attendees, all of whom will be disguised in their best masquerade ball masks and black-tie optional attire. Gala attendees will have an opportunity to guess who the Mystery Guest is and before the close of the evening, the Mystery Guest’s identity will be revealed.
A new “Pop Up Shop” will be featured at Moonlight Masquerade showcasing the best of the best items that have been donated to CAC’s Boutique thrift shop including designer label handbags, jewelry, fashions and more.
