Beer Tour In Town

The Atlanta Beer Bus, a HOP-on/HOP-off shuttle service that transports beer enthusiasts between Atlanta’s finest breweries, has officially launched. Offering wallet-friendly entertainment for just $15 per person, riders receive unlimited access to the Atlanta Beer Bus shuttles that travel along a continuous loop where they create their own brewery adventure – staying as long or as little as they like at any location every Friday through Sunday.  Each bus is equipped with comfortable, heated/air conditioned group seating, great music, and friendly and knowledgeable drivers.

Located at 6335 Roswell Road, Goldfish Swim School offers a wide range of perpetual swimming classes for all ages and skill levels at times that are convenient for every family’s schedule. Goldfish provides swim instruction to children ages 4 months to 12-years-old in shiver-free, 90-degree pools and a state-of-the-art water purification system. Hit the Road

Bike-Walk Dunwoody monthly community cycle is a volunteer group trying to promote active lifestyles, similar to your publication.  Join Bike-Walk Dunwoody for the monthly Community Bicycle Ride the first Sunday of each month. Cyclists of all ages and abilities meet at 2:45 p.m. at Village Burger on Dunwoody Village Parkway for a short pre-ride safety talk.  The ride departs at 3 p.m. for a 4.5-mile loop around Dunwoody (mostly right turns). Stick around afterwards for $1 custards, $1 off beers, and post-ride socializing.

Swimming for Good

Swim Across America – Atlanta  invites neighborhood pools to add “fun” raising to their summer swim season with an easy turnkey program provided by SAA.  Neighborhood pools can simply host a pool party or a Lap-A-Thon to raise funds for clinical research trials at In turn, SAA will provide banners, tattoos, and swim caps for the event, and provide guidance and online tools to generate enthusiasm and participation.

Day Camps Galore

Jeffrey Fashion Cares Atlanta is set to celebrate 26 stylish years on Monday, August 27, at 7 p.m. Considered the official kick-off to fall social season, the annual philanthropic fête founded by acclaimed retailer and arbiter of style, Jeffrey Kalinsky, will return to Phipps Plaza for an unforgettable evening that kicks off with a cocktail reception and dynamic silent auction followed by a high-energy live auction.  The evening’s pièce de résistance, a runway show featuring Kalnisky’s style selections from high-end designers, once again promises to dazzle with looks from Celine, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Calvin Klein, Dries Van Noten, Sacai, Saint Laurent Paris, Balenciaga, Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik. The 2018 event will benefit Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta, the Atlanta AIDS Fund (AAF), and the Medical University of South Carolina. Last year’s event raised over $750,000 for the organizations.

Explore Butterflies at Chattahoochee Nature Center

Polo Time

Polo in the Pines is a high-spirited, two-day charity polo event benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, pediatric cancer research, October 13-14.
