Golf To Help Others
On April 29, the AVC Board of Young Professionals is hosting a TopGolf Tourney at the Atlanta Midtown location benefiting the Auditory-Verbal Center, Inc. (AVC), a non-profit organization. AVC’s mission is to serve the deaf and hard of hearing by giving sound and voice WITHOUT the use of sign language or lip reading to those who would otherwise be living in an isolated world of silence. About 2 or 3 out of every 1,000 children in the U.S. are born with hearing loss in one or both ears, and about 15% of adults aged 18 and over report some trouble hearing. Unfortunately, hearing loss is the third most common health issue people are faced with. We are seeking sponsors and players for this TopGolf Tournament with sponsorship opportunities ranging from $700 to $4,000. All options include tickets to the event along with great publicity for your business! Individual tickets are $90 and include golfing (golf skills not required) with food, drinks, prizes, and raffle items. AVCHears.org/events 404.633.8911.
