With a passion for polo and a desire to give back to the community, Randy and Heather Pullen hosted the first Pony Up For A Cause fundraiser in 2016. They decided to take a leap of faith and use their love for polo in Atlanta to partner with Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities to host the inaugural event held at the Atlanta Polo Club last fall.
This task seemed daunting at the time, but with a huge fleet of volunteers, Bill Kaelin Events, The Atlanta Regional Polo Center, and the staff from Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Pullen’s inaugural event raised more than $10,000 for the ARMHC mission to nurture the health and well-being of children and families.
With this success, the second annual Pony Up For A Cause, presented by Northside Hospital, will be held on September 17 at the Atlanta Polo Club set in the heart of Vinings. The event will feature a sanctioned United States Polo Association (USPA) tournament, along with cuisine provided by Fogo De Chao Atlanta and Dunwoody, drinks and specialty cocktails, family activities, entertainment and both a live and silent auction. The proceeds from Pony Up For A Cause 2017 will again benefit Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities.
“We are equally proud and excited to extend this invitation to the Atlanta community and host this wonderful event to benefit such a tremendous cause. We look forward to another successful event and to have fun, enjoy a great polo match and to give back,” says Randy Pullen.
