& Sage

4 ea. fresh cranberries

2 ea. fresh sage leaf

2 fresh lime wedges

½ oz. simple syrup

2 oz. white cranberry juice

2 oz. Prairie Organic Gin

1 ea. sage leaf for garnish

1/8th teaspoon powdered sugar

2 ea. fresh cranberries

From your bar: grab a cocktail shaker, highball glass, muddler, sauce pan, sheet tray

Get busy: To blanch cranberries, fill sauce pan with water and bring water to a boil. Add cranberries for 30 seconds then remove cranberries from water and cool on sheet tray.

Shake it up: Place 4 cranberries, 2 fresh sage leaves, 2 lime wedges and ½ oz. simple syrup in cocktail shaker and muddle. Fill highball glass with ice and pour into cocktail shaker. Add 2 oz. white cranberry juice and 2 oz. Prairie Organic Gin. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Pour contents back into highball glass. Dip sage leaf and dust with 1/8  teaspoon powdered sugar. Garnish with dusted sage leaf and two fresh cranberries

Makes 1 cocktail.
